Join us for a breath work-centered slow flow class. During this class, we will explore the practical application of breathwork (pranayama) combined with mindful asana (yoga) to influence the mind-body connection. Throughout class, we will shift the shape and size of our breath pattern — controlling rate, depth, and rhythm — to directly impact physiological processes. This class will introduce foundational breathing techniques and explain how they affect oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange, cellular function, and nervous system regulation. Through this guided practice, you will learn to listen intuitively to your body through the use of breath to promote a sense of calm and revitalize your energy (prana)!
