Classes at Mighty Yoga

We offer a variety of classes each week to help you reach your goals. 

Mighty Flow

Our signature heated power vinyasa class, to help you move, breathe, and sweat out anything you don’t need. We move through both traditional and creative sequences - each class is different and each instructor adds their own flavor. This is a great workout (if you want it to be!), and a chance to reconnect to your body and your breath. Our instructors encourage you to pay attention to what you need - offering options to dial up the intensity as well as reminders to take rest when needed. This all levels class is heated to 85-90 deg.

 

Mindful Flow

A smoothly-paced vinyasa flow class to help you reconnect. Mindful Flow classes include an emphasis on breath and body awareness, so you can fine tune your practice to meet you where you are. Instructors offer modifications and variations throughout the class, making these classes accessible for students of all levels. This class is great for beginners, but also adds a new layer of challenge for more experienced yogis to dig into your practice - with a greater focus on alignment, breath, engagement, and expansion in each pose. You will leave feeling energized, restored and grounded. This all-levels class is taught in a warm room. 

Unwind

Yoga can be a bridge that connects us back to optimal alignment with our Self and our purpose. Take a pause in your week to cultivate slow space as we practice warming movement, progressive stretching, and focused breath work, which can facilitate tension release and steadiness in your mind and heart. All yogis are invited to come just as you are to pause, unwind, and align.

Barre Strength

Barre is a strength-based workout where you'll create a deep burn. Barre is famous for its focus on high reps of tiny movements to strengthen your entire body. This class moves to the rhythm of music and fluidly moves from one body area to the next. Barre is a great workout on its own, but it also functions as a great compliment to yoga, running, hiking...or anything else you do! The core, arm, leg, and booty strength we build will benefit you in all areas of your life. In addition to the physical benefits, we bet you'll also notice some mental and emotional ones as well! Barre classes are not heated.

Yin

Yin is a perfect practice to balance your heat-building, strengthening, vinyasa practice. As opposed to "Yang" or active yoga class, "Yin" is a slow-paced class with poses that are held for longer periods of time. Yin poses applies gentle stress to the connective tissue, including ligaments and fascia, to promote flexibility, joint mobility, and cellular regeneration. Through an exploration of sensation and breath, it also helps to calm the nervous system and connect your mind and body.
