Proud & Resilient: A Queer Yoga Workshop (Hanover)

Join yoga instructor Jonas A. McCaffery for a special day workshop for queer and trans-identified individuals.

The LGBTQ+ community can often feel disconnected from our bodies and experience high levels of stress and anxiety on a daily basis due to our queerness. This workshop is created to bring us back to our physical selves and connect it to our mind and spirit. It will be a place of finding power in our queerness and transness, increasing our well being and self worth in a safe environment. The tentative plan for the day will have an introduction, then an all-levels vinyasa flow, lunch time to chat and mingle, a group Q&A about personal and queer issues, and finish with a restorative and guided meditation practice. It will be a time to foster community, strength, and healing while expressing your true self.

While this workshop is open to allies too, it is mainly intended to be a queer-centered space.
