Yin Yoga w/ Maryellen
You've been asking, and we hear you! You want a Yin class - we've got one coming up this month! For those who are unfamiliar with this style of yoga, here's a little more information. We hope to see you in class!
What can I expect in a Yin yoga class?
The pace of this class is very slow. We will hold poses for a few minutes each before moving to the next. While Yin is not physically vigorous like our Mighty Flows, it is challenging in its own way. The intensity here comes from the longer holds (think about how you feel holding hip opening poses, or happy baby).
Why do Yin?
We're always thinking about bringing balance to our lives. Our yoga practice is no different! Yin offers us a chance to balance out the fiery energy of our Mighty Flow & Barre classes. Plus, you may experience benefits such as increased range of motion in your joints, connection to breath, and decreased stress & anxiety. Nice!

Tues, 4/23 @ 4pm, with Maryellen! Maryellen also teaches our highly popular Restorative & Reiki class on Sunday afternoons.
