Yoga is… my place to thrown down and let go.
What do you love most about yoga? I love that yoga is a safe space. A space to be free from the ‘outside’ world, the to-do lists and routine life. It’s a space to be light and free, just moving, and breathing, and smiling.
What fuels you? Being a happy face to the people who need it the most and the sense of satisfaction I get when I cross something off my to-do list.
My NON-guilty pleasures are… my obsession with chapstick, coffee milkshakes, flavor blasted goldfish crackers, and being a mama to my feline babies.
What makes you Mighty? My desire to persevere.
What’s your yoga story? How did you start practicing? As a collegiate rower at Ithaca College, in 2011 during our NCAA National Championship Training our coach brought the team to Mighty for a class. I still remember how I felt when I left – dizzy, dehydrated but totally blissed out. I fell in love and have been coming to Mighty ever since.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? “Always act like you’re wearing an invisible crown.”
