Liz Klohmann

I took my first yoga class at Mighty Yoga to compliment the intense triathlon training I was doing. I loved the challenge of a class that utilized and developed my strength, made me sweat, and stretched my tight muscles. Initially, I was drawn to yoga for the physical benefits.

I soon realized that yoga was benefiting other areas of my life.  I began to crave yoga. As a caretaker for my ill spouse , a mom, and a person in charge of a large community agency life felt busy, stressful and full! Classes became a time when I stepped on my mat and was able to focus solely on my mind and body. I left feeling refreshed, energized and content.

Today my yoga practice provides me with a balance of physical movement, a path to explore my spirituality and a way to cultivate a sense of peace and calmness. Taking the Mighty Yoga Teacher Training had been a goal of mine for many years.  This year (2022), the time was right.  I am grateful for the opportunity to teach at Mighty.  Helping people feel good moving in their bodies brings me joy.
