Yoga appeared in my life just when I needed it most. It was a time when I was juggling many roles - mom, daughter, wife, a busy job and mostly being on autopilot. There was no time for nurturing my human.  In the midst of that busy life, my teenage son asked me to go to a yoga class with him and I've been hooked ever since.  Yoga helped me to become present, calm and healthy. Since then, I have studied energy practices and am fascinated by the fact that we can positively impact our health and well-being.  The journey from my first yoga class to now includes certifications in hatha, restorative and yin yoga, qigong, energy medicine and Reiki.

As I age my body craves gentle movement and yoga and qigong help me move with ease and with less aches and pains. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to share this wisdom in a way that makes everyone feel safe, comfortable and at ease. I love teaching and sharing ways to stay well. It's important to me to spread this knowledge and help students feel empowered to impact their own personal health on a daily basis.
