Time to Rest
During this winter seasonal cycle, it feels like our ecological, political, and community energy is at maximum effort. This is a perfect opportunity to engage with rest practices that can fill and sustain us. Yoga Nidra, sometimes referred to as conscious sleep, expands our capacity to live awake, resourced, and grounded. This journey builds a bridge from a state of distraction, stress, and exhaustion into a sanctuary of self-awareness, healing, and rejuvenation.
If you are curious about how to cultivate an accessible and sustainable rest practice, you are welcome here. This meditative practice will incorporate gentle movement, focused breath, relaxation methods, and guided visualization techniques - all rooted in Yoga Nidra.
Participants are invited to wear comfortable, layered clothing, and have a non-electronic journal. If you are joining us in person, soft props will be provided. Online attendees are invited to utilize soft props found around your location (pillows, blankets, etc…)
