Before I found yoga, I tried out all kinds of things to feel good in my body and mind. After a challenging couple of years, I was looking for something sustainable—something that would help me build strength and endurance without leaving me too sore or exhausted. That’s when I returned to Mighty Yoga, where I attended my very first yoga class over ten years ago! It wasn’t until a little over a year ago that I committed to a regular practice at Mighty. Yoga quickly became more than just exercise for me, it became a way to reconnect with myself and practice mindfulness. It provided a moving meditation that allowed me to slow down and become more present in my day-to-day life. As my practice evolved, I gained strength and confidence in my body. I now feel more grounded and connected to both my mind and body and I am able to sink into the flow of the class much quicker.

When I’m not on the mat, you can probably find me cooking up something tasty, or talking about food. I also love being outside, spending time with friends, growing, evolving and trying new things!

Working at the front desk at Mighty Yoga allows me to share the benefits of yoga with others. I love getting to connect with others and helping them to find the same peace, strength, and community that yoga has brought into my life.
